I painted this one by my favorite lake in the north. Queen Anne's Lace is a delicate favorite in the prairie, but it also somehow manages to sprout there, on an island made of granite. This painting worked to capture the colors and texture contrasts of that.
Queen Anne's Lace by the Lake
24x30" vertically oriented acrylic with pastel and pencil on canvas. The work is varnished for protection in a light gloss finish. This piece has been custom framed in-house in a super thin, classic, wood finish frame.
