Each season I try to celebrate my work from the year with an abstract ornament series that reflects on the pieces I have made. This year I did a mix, but I couldn't help making a few fancy abstracts that feel like a party!
Keeping with my paintings, these ornaments are colorful, with washes of color and texture from layers of other mediums, like pastel, pencil, and faux gold leaf. They'll look great on your tree or displayed year round!
The ornaments are approximately 3”, ceramic, painted in acrylic and pastel, and finished with protective varnish. They're hung with recycled silk fabric ribbon.
